I'm just a girl on the verge.
I'm a girl on the verge of ripping out her fucking hair.
Oh really? Resumes AND cover letter's to potential employers?
Networking and Social Media? SEO, HTML, and Wordpress?!|
Thanks for the freshman career class synopsis.
Please don't sit me down and give me advice that was relevant when you were in the job market over a decade ago when the world had money and we thought we'd never run out so we went nuts and bought that yacht or maybe switched off that GPM because, you know--god knows nothing will happen God wouldn't let the children starve and for all we know people don't want the truth anymore and if anything, they can provide it themselves by tweeting, blogging, photographing, linking, texting until all we've got left are freelance jobs but jesus, why would you want to do that? And is it really realistic? Sure, I'll pitch things here and there but to make ends meet wouldn't that mean I would have to get atleast three stories published a month at a dollar per word but to guarantee I get the go-ahead I would need to pitch atleast 15 stories? Then if i can't commit, I'll be a fucking mess running around trying to write more stories than I can handle but society clearly does not value the truth--it's not like restaurants are going around telling people to cook their own food, pour your own drinks, and write your own check because maybe--it's just more cost-efficient and this way they can have more eatership.
Please. Don't feed me that bull when I'm on the verge. Cuz right now .....FUCK! I'm on the verge to rip your hair out...especially since we all find you irrelevant.
